This biannual exhibition is organised by Success after Stroke, a Sudbury based charity which provides, through its dedicated team of professional therapists and volunteers, care and support to stroke survivors and their families, helping them to regain confidence and rebuild their lives.

Success After Stroke run a very successful art class for their members each week and their high standard of art is exhibited alongside the work of many local artists covering a wide range of themes as well as prices.  Part of the proceeds of sales goes to supporting this local charity and we do hope you can come along and support them in your own way.

Sudbury Art Collective is a group of artists and makers living withing walking distance of each other in Sudbury. The group includes local painters, printmakers, ceramicists, restorers and textile designers and we’ll all be opening our studios to visitors interested in seeing our workand talking to us about what we do..

Please visit my open studio over the weekends of June 10th/11th to see work in progress, framed and unframed paintings, prints, portraits and plant studies and discover the hidden garden that inspires me.

A selection of my cards, stationery and ceramics will also be on sale. Please check back for confirmation of the date for the Sudbury Trail where you will be able to visit the studios and see the work of local fellow artists over the same weekend.

The Pastel Society presents a rich diversity of works for their 124th annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London.

This is the first time I have been selected for this prestigious exhibiton and I’m excited to be showing my work alongside so many established artists and Members of the Society.

The Colchester Art Society was founded in 1946 by a group of artists based in and around Colchester. Its earliest members included John Nash, Cedric Morris, Henry Collins, Roderic Barrett, Joyce Pallot and Sylvia St. George. Currently there are 350 members and the society organises two major exhibitions each year. Works are subject to selection by an elected panel and I am delighted my pastel painting ‘Flora’ has been selected for this exhibition in the Benham Gallery at Cuckoo Farm Studios.

Formerly known as the Contemporary Watercolour Competition, the RWS Open is the largest open-submission water-media exhibition in the world, attracting thousands of submissions nationally and internationally each year.

I am delighted that my water colour ‘Walking home’ has been selected for 2023.

This is a group exhibition by professional contemporary East Anglian artists and makers with 30 elected members and guest artists. New and original work is exhibited at Blackthorpe Barn and I’m delighted to be taking part in the upcoming exhibition.

The Sudbury Art Collective is a group of artists and makers around Sudbury all opening their studios to visitors this weekend.

I’m sorry to say that I have decided not to take part as it coincides with the Artworks exhibition I am taking part in which runs over the same time.

Do visit to see work in progress and meet the artists. As always there will be paintings, cards and prints for sale and you can be sure of a very interesting day.

Please come and see my studio and have a wander round the garden. I will be here to welcome you and show you my work. This is also the Sudbury Trail weekend when visitors are able to have a look behind the scenes and see artists in action all around the town. It’s a great day out so do visit.
